A Day Devoted to Sunshine

One of my goals this year is to truly change the priorities of my life and act accordingly. My babies have been a priority to me since the day they were each born, but it's time to do a little more. A little more reading, a little more playing, snuggling and just doing what they enjoy

A normal Saturday for us consists of not much of anything we lounge around, might go to the store to pick up groceries and diapers and then do a bunch of nothing.

So today to celebrate Valentine's Day we had a little Crafts and Cupcakes party for our daughter and her friends. There were a total of 11 kids age 4 and under and their parents crammed into our living room and dining room this afternoon making Foam Robot Ornaments and Animal Picture Frames. Once the crafts were done we moved onto cupcakes and playtime. The kids all had a blast and I enjoyed watching Sunshine with all of her little friends and the huge smile that was across her face the entire time.

We finished the day by reading a couple of books from the library snuggled together on the couch.

Warning: Changing your priorites to things that are actually important and acting on them can be life changing and may cause extreme happiness

Until next time

  1. I like your little quote at the end, may have to borrow it for a status update :) So glad that all the kiddies had a fun time. I think it is a wonderful idea to have playdate parties such as this. It's good for both the kids and the parents. Hoping we can make the next one!
